What I did over winter break:

The past week and a half have been full of crafts, beers, and time with loved ones. To be honest, I'd hoped to accomplish a lot more (mega apartment cleaning, cat cuddle time, etc.) but things got busy fast. However, the boy and I spent a lot of time working on some crafty activities together. He's been doing some wire-wrapping projects, and I think he's bound to make some real great stuff! And here's what I've done:

This dual-strand beaded necklace. I had some beads from an older necklace I'd made that had broken, so I re-did it with two strands that are linked together for a few inches before the clasp.

Some simple beaded earrings:

Another tree! I love the way this one turned out. I took a lot more time working on this one and had my original that I'd learned from.

Leaf earrings and pendant. I might edit these a little. Maybe more bead work. We'll see, but I think this is a good start.

My favorite of the bunch: a braided fabric necklace. I bought these quarter yard scraps from Jo-Ann Fabrics and cut them in 1/2 inch strips. I mixed a four different fabrics for this particular necklace and mixed it up with embroidery thread, felt, and glass beads. I think it turned out awesome!
